The company was founded in 2010 with the development of our own crowd-sourced websites. In 2012, we started to consult on external projects, and participate actively in the Danish and European startup networks.

We invented the name, Vivolate, to express the action of bringing something to life. That ‘something’ can be a company, a project, an invention, an idea or simply yourself. In latin, ‘vivo’ means ‘I live’, and in scientific terminology ‘in vivo’ means that a process occur in a living organism. The suffix ‘-ate’ is also loaned from latin to transform it into a verb and to give the name more action. In Vivolate we bring ideas to life – that is our core business.
